Welcome to Lagos Presbyterian Church Yaba.
Welcome to The Lagos Presbyterian Church, Yaba Congregation—where a rich history meets a vibrant present. Established in 1963 as the pioneer Presbyterian church in Western Nigeria, we have stood as a beacon of truth and stability for over six decades with Christ as the center of it all.
While our roots are deep, our vision is forward-looking. We do not just dwell on our heritage; we live actively in the present. We are a dynamic, multi-generational family where timeless truth meets contemporary life.
We seek to lead people to Christ, guide members to matured Christian life so that they are able to stand firm in the ministry within the Church and in the world, while empowering them to contribute to the spiritual development and economic transformation process of Nigeria and Africa.

Church Leadership
It is a joy to introduce you to the heart of our congregational leadership, Rev. Egbuta Ojebe: our Minister of Word and Sacrament. Grounded in the Presbyterian tradition of “decency and order,” our minister serves not as a distant authority, but as a teaching elder who walks alongside us in our spiritual journeys..
